UAB Kortenas E-commerce model implementation activities
Project objective - Implementation of information technology for electronic management of business transactions to increase the revenue growth of UAB Kortenas. The project also wanted to meet the needs of the customers, so it was decided that it was not only necessary to produce high quality goods, but also to create a user-friendly e-shop for everyone. The project will result in the development and implementation of an innovative design, user-friendly customer self-service e-commerce platform - an e-shop, whose solutions will be integrated with the company's resource management systems in order to enable the operational organisation of sales and production process improvements.
Kortenas received support under Priority 13 "Promoting actions to address the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing for an environmentally friendly, digital and sustainable economic recovery" under Measure 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 "E-commerce model COVID-19", which is aimed at encouraging businesses to adopt information technology to manage business transactions electronically in order to increase revenue growth. The project is supported by the Republic of Lithuania and part-financed by the European Union.

Kortenas UAB was established in 2010. The company operates exclusively in the glass, window and door manufacturing sector. The company's clients are both natural and legal persons, not only from Lithuania, but also from all over the world.
The next step in the company's strategy is the introduction of an e-commerce model, which will strengthen the company's position in the market and help it to generate more revenue. The project activities include an e-commerce platform solution that will enable Korteno UAB to sell its products more efficiently and to respond more accurately to customer needs.
The implementation of the Project will create the preconditions for the rapid business development of UAB Kortenas and create opportunities for the company to continue to compete successfully on the market. The acquired e-commerce solutions will enable the successful launch of interactive sales processes, help automate the company's sales and increase the company's revenues. The self-service solution implemented under the Project will allow customers to identify the most suitable products or combinations of products according to individual parameters, ensure smooth sales management, delivery, payment and related processes. The integration of the solution with the company's resource management system will enable the company to regulate the stock of goods, organise the improvement of sales and production processes.
